FIRST BANK COON RAPIDS OFFICIALLY CHANGES NAME TO MARQUETTE BANK COON RAPIDS

 MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Curt Martinson, president of the bank, has announced First Bank Coon Rapids, Coon Rapids, Minn., has officially changed its name to Marquette Bank Coon Rapids. The bank was purchased by Marquette Bancshares, Inc., a multi-bank holding company based in Minneapolis.
 The bank was chartered in 1960 as First State Bank of Coon Rapids. Its main office is located at 1308 Coon Rapids Boulevard in Coon Rapids. Two branch offices at 1550 Robinson Drive and 2840 Coon Rapids Boulevard are also located Coon Rapids. The bank has approximately $75 million in total assets.
 Grand opening activities are planned for the week of Nov. 15 - 19 to celebrate the bank's new name and ownership. Accounts have been changed from former First Bank Coon Rapids accounts to new Marquette accounts.
 Marquette Bank customers will now be able to bank at Marquette Bank Coon Rapids in addition to any of the 27 existing Marquette Bank offices located throughout Minnesota, including the main offices in Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Cannon Falls, Golden Valley, Hutchinson, Lakeville, downtown Minneapolis, Mound, New Hope, New Prague, Rochester and Shakopee.
 Marquette Bancshares oversees 13 other banks in Minnesota that go under the name Marquette. Its combined assets in the state are approximately $1 billion. Marquette Bancshares is owned by Carl Pohlad and his family, who also own approximately 40 other banks in 10 other states with combined assets of nearly $3 billion.
