FIRST AND FINAL ADD TO SPRINT TELEMEDIA LOCATOR: LOST/FOUND PET HOTLINE

 /FIRST AND FINAL ADD -- DC010 -- SPRINT TELEMEDIA LOCATOR/
 SPRINT TELEMEDIA LOCATOR:
 LOST/FOUND PET HOTLINE
-- Sprint TeleMedia's Locator technology enables data from
incoming 900 and automated 800 calls to be cross-matched
against each other, creating a clearinghouse for lost/found
 pet information.
-- The system is completely automated and is accessible 24 hours
 per day.
-- Using a touch-tone telephone, callers to the hotline respond
to a menu-driven program which allows them to provide their
telephone number and location, by zipcode and a description
 of the animal.
-- All descriptions, using a multiple choice menu, are entered
using the keypads on a touch-tone phone. For example,
regarding a cat's age, the choices are 1-kitten, 2-adult and
 3-senior.
-- The first three digits of the zipcodes of the lost and found
reports are used to localize the match.
-- Callers (owners of lost pets) use their telephone number as a
personal identification code when they call the 900 number to
check the status of their lost pet report. When checking the
status, the caller first is prompted to enter his phone
number. The system then checks the database for a positive
match. If a match occurs, the system "speaks" the phone
number of the caller who entered the found report. The system
will speak back up to three phone numbers of positive matches.
-- Sprint TeleMedia's service bureau has the ability to handle
20,000 15-second calls in one minute, so callers do not
 receive a busy signal.
-- Sprint TeleMedia's service bureau provides reliability with
four fully-redundant operating centers located throughout the
 country.
