Speeding vehicles in the Low Farm Drive and Hambleton Avenue is also a police priority.
Redcar officers have worked along side Redcar and Cleveland council to carry out speed surveys. Vehicles in this area were found to not be speeding and the issues is thought to be more of a perception issue. Officers will continue static observation in these areas and also look into using speed measuring equipment to identify offenders.
Lockwood SPEEDING in Stanghow remains a police priority. Officers regularly liaise with safety camera unit and the road policing unit to request deployments. Speeding in the Lockwood area is also a priority. Officers are currently looking to set up a 'Community Speed Watch' scheme. The supply and misuse of drugs in Lingdale is a priority.
