FIFA slash Celtic fine.

World football bosses last night cut Celtic's fine over the signing of Alan Stubbs.

The Parkhead club had been originally been ordered to stump up pounds 41,000 for using an unlicensed agent in Stubbs' transfer from Bolton.

But FIFA chiefs have now reduced that to pounds 22,000 - and slashed Stubbs personal fine by pounds 10,000 to pounds 18,000.

Celtic had been reported to FIFA by agent Jake Duncan who complained that unlicensed Ian Rioch had completed the transfer.

But Celts appealed against the fines, claiming they acted in good faith.
