FIFA lifts PFF suspension.
KARACHI -- The suspension on the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has been lifted, nearly six months after it was imposed by global football body FIFA for 'third-party interference'.
A letter by FIFA Secretary General Fatma Samoura to PFF secretary Col Ahmed Yaar Khan Lodhi says the conditions for the lifting of the suspension have been met.
The ban was imposed after the Lahore High Court appointed an administrator to manage PFF affairs following a fallout in the PFF elections back in June 2015.
The LHC earlier this month upheld PFF president Faisal Saleh Hayat's election and the accounts were also handed over to him.
An appeal against that case has been filed in the Supreme Court.
