FIDELITY BANCORP, INC. ANNOUNCES DIVIDEND INCREASE

 PITTSBURGH, Oct. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- The board of directors of Fidelity Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: FSBI) yesterday declared a $.07 quarterly cash dividend.
 This is a 16 percent increase from the previously paid $.06 per share. This dividend is payable Nov. 10, 1993, to stockholders of record Nov. 3, 1993, and represents the 21st consecutive quarterly cash dividend paid by Fidelity.
 According to William L. Windisch, president and chief executive officer, "The increase in Fidelity's dividend is due to our commitment to provide a stable return to our stockholders. I am pleased that we are able to share the success of the bank with our stockholders."
 Fidelity Bancorp, Inc. is the holding company of Fidelity Savings Bank, a Pennsylvania-chartered, FDIC-insured savings bank with $267 million in assets, conducting business through nine offices in Allegheny and Butler counties.
