 PEMBROKE, Mass., Aug. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Fibronics International Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: FBRX) signed a cooperative agreement with Gulf Computers Inc., a privately held Massachusetts-based international system integrator. Under terms of the agreement, Gulf Computers will purchase the operational unit of Fibronics' Spartacus Division in Lowell, Mass., which includes research and development, manufacturing, support and marketing of Spartacus' KNET mainframe-to-LAN connectivity product line. Fibronics will continue to sell, market and support KNET as a system and service provider.
 Both Fibronics and Gulf will continue to provide state-of-the-art TCP/IP networking solutions to the marketplace in the U.S. as well as internationally, and will coordinate their sales, marketing and support efforts regarding the KNET product line.
