FIAT GROUP IN NORTH AMERICA TO HOLD SECOND ANNUAL MANAGEMENT MEETING

 NEW YORK, Feb. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The Fiat Group in North America will hold its second annual management meeting today in Philadelphia. The primary purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the Fiat Group, its accomplishments in '92, and its strategies and projections for '93.
 The conference will bring together approximately 180 managers from all Fiat Group operating companies in North America.
 The theme of the meeting will be "Change in Action." The meeting will be led by Vittorio Vellano, president and chief executive officer of Fiat USA, Inc. Mr. Vellano's presentation will touch upon several topics including anticipated changes in the automotive market, new human resources management philosophies and the roles of the diversified sectors within the Fiat Group.
 Umberto Quadrino, executive vice president of Fiat SpA for diversified industrial sectors and business development, will present various organizational and production strategies.
 Guest speaker will be Dr. Robert Hormats, vice chairman of Goldman Sachs International.
 Final remarks will be delivered by Ambassador Renato Ruggiero, a member of Fiat Group's board of directors, in charge of coordinating Fiat's international activities.
 Fiat USA, Inc., is the national holding company responsible for the strategic coordination of the Fiat Group's operations in North America consisting of 20 operating companies with 7,000 employees. Fiat's sales in the United States exceeded $2 billion in 1992.
