FELLA: NO WAY, JOSE.

Byline: NEIL MOXLEY

DOES Jose Mourinho 'get' Manchester United? It's difficult sometimes to understand if the Portuguese man-of-war understands there needs to be some pizzazz at Old Trafford.

Mourinho has always set out teams to be tough and difficult to beat.

He likes power. He admires strength. We get that.

And it was always going to take time to upgrade certain parts of his teams.

As contracts run down, he could inject some real life, some spark, into the club. That's what's happened with Marouane Fellaini (below, with Mourinho) - and the United manager has chosen to renew his deal.

We all know what the Belgian brings. And it's certainly not pizzazz.

He's not going to get anyone out of their seat.

It's hard to see how signings like this are going to bring back the X Factor to Old Trafford any time soon.
