FEDERAL EXPRESS REPORTS JULY VOLUME

 MEMPHIS, Tenn., Aug. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Federal Express Corporation (NYSE: FDX) announced today that average daily volume of express packages and documents for July 1993 increased approximately 13 percent compared to July 1992. Details are shown in the table below.
