FEDERAL EXPRESS REPORTS FINAL MONTHLY VOLUME FOR SEPT. 1993

 MEMPHIS, Tenn., Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Federal Express Corporation (NYSE: FDX) announced today that average daily volume of express packages and documents for Sept. 1993 increased approximately 10 percent compared to Sept. 1992. Details are shown in the table.
