 FEDERAL EXPRESS CORPORATION ANNOUNCES MONTHLY VOLUME FOR MARCH
 MEMPHIS, April 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Federal Express Corporation announced today that average daily volume of express packages and documents for March 1992 increased 18 percent compared to March 1991. The company noted that the reported March 1992 average daily volume excludes approximately 18,000 International Priority (IP) packages associated with certain European services to be discontinued as of May 4, 1992. As part of the third quarter write-off, a reserve was made for all fourth quarter revenues and expenses associated with these service changes. Details of the month's package volumes are shown in the table below.
