 FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY
 UNVEILS PUBLIC INFORMATION INITIATIVE ON DISASTER RESPONSE
 With millions of Americans affected by hurricanes, flash floods, tornadoes, earthquakes and other disasters every year, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will unveil a library of video, audio and print emergency instructions to help Americans protect themselves when disasters occur.
 DATE: Aug. 5
 TIME: 10 a.m.
 PLACE: National Press Club, Main Lounge
 14th and F streets N.W.
 Washington
 Joining FEMA Director Wallace Stickney will be:
 -- Grant Peterson, associate director for state and local programs and support (FEMA).
 -- Eddie O. Fritts, president, National Association of Broadcasters.
 -- Dr. Elbert W. Friday Jr., assistant administrator for weather services, National Weather Service.
 -- Richard Hallgren, executive director, American Meteorological Society.
 -- Bob Vila, home repair show personality, who demonstrated the video instructions.
 -- Representatives of the American Red Cross, the National Emergency Management Association and the National Coordinating Council on Emergency Management.
