FD SERVICES AWARDED $121 MILLION CONTRACT BY DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY
    IRVINE, Calif., July 16 /PRNewswire/ -- FD Services Inc., a subsidiary of Fluor Corp. (NYSE: FLR), confirmed today that it has been selected by the U.S. Department of Energy to be the new operator of the government-owned oil fields and oil shale properties in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming.  The contract will extend for five years and is estimated to be worth approximately $121 million.
    FD Services will provide all operations, maintenance, logistical support, engineering, technical and administrative work necessary to accomplish the efficient management and operation of the properties. They include the Teapot Dome Naval Petroleum Reserve No. 3, a federally owned oil field located 35 miles north of Casper, Wyo.  The company will also assume responsibility for managing the government's Naval Oil Shale Reserves in Garfield County, Colo., and Carbon and Uintah Counties, Utah.
    FD Services Inc., is the government operations and maintenance arm of Fluor Corp., with regional offices in Tulsa, Okla.; Houston; Irvine; Miami; Charlotte, N.C.; and Greenville, S.C. FD Services' home office is in Greenville.
