FAX FOCUS INTRODUCES MORTGAGE POINT, FIRST FAX INFORMATION AND RATE DISTRIBUTION SERVICE DESIGNED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE MORTGAGE INDUSTRY

NEW YORK, June 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Fax Focus Ltd., a Colorado-based information publisher, announced today the introduction of Mortgage Point, an exciting new fax information service that lets mortgage lenders quickly, consistently and reliably communicate their rates and other critical information to brokers nationwide.
Using the latest communications and information technology, Mortgage Point distributes each mortgage lender's personalized master sheet of loan rates via fax to the lender's broker customers each morning, or as required throughout the day. The rate sheet is completely customized for each lender, with the lender's logo printed on the page. The Fax Focus communications system monitors jobs continuously as they are transmitted, immediately notifying Fax Focus staff members when there is a problem such as an "out-of-paper" message, and sending confirmation to lenders of the date and precise time when their rate sheets were delivered.
The Mortgage Point Broadcast Fax service not only saves lenders time; it provides a more efficient and reliable distribution method than individual lenders could establish from their own offices or using general fax distribution services not geared to the mortgage industry such as those offered by Sprint and MCI. Fax Focus uses its own dedicated network for fax distribution, specializes in personalized service, and is dedicated to meeting the particular needs of the mortgage industry.
According to Constance Blaine, vice president of Fax Focus, "The Mortgage Point service allows lenders to improve the efficiency of their business by providing them with all the information they need to set competitive rates, plus a fast, cost-effective way to distribute rates and program information to every broker in their network. More importantly, because every fax is branded with the lender's company logo, Mortgage Point represents a marketing breakthrough for the mortgage wholesaler trying to gain the loyalty and attention of hundreds or even thousands of mortgage brokers."
In addition to timely distribution of rate sheets, Mortgage Point supplies lenders with all the information they need to identify market trends and make informed decisions. Mortgage Point News concisely summarizes the latest news affecting the mortgage market and faxes the headlines to the lender each morning. Full text is easily retrievable for stories of special interest. The service can be entirely customized according to the information in which each particular lender has an interest, and News Alerts on breaking news stories are also faxed throughout the day.
The Executive Morning Briefing provides a customized summary of business news compiled by the Associated Press, a leading news source, and created exclusively for the mortgage industry. Mortgage Point's Market Monitor lists closing quotes and stocks, bonds, Treasuries and other financial instruments that lenders and brokers need to watch closely to gauge the direction of the mortgage market. Lenders can have this information repackaged by Fax Focus for quick distribution to all or a portion of their broker list.
Finally, Fax Focus offers Mortgage Point On-Demand Fax, an automated system that lets the lender's customers dial the Fax Focus number to request specialized information, such as special promotions, programs, and underwriting guidelines. All information faxed to the broker is branded with the mortgage lenders' company logo. The fully automated voice response system informs brokers of the information options they have and faxes the requested information to them within minutes of their call.
Fax Focus provides cost-effective options for the mortgage lender. The lender can choose the exact combination of services desired. Mortgage lenders can maintain their own broker lists or Fax Focus staff members will maintain the lenders' broker list with the highest level of security and confidentiality. The Fax Focus staff works closely with the lender to assure that each lender's broker list remains current at all times.
Headquartered in Colorado, Fax Focus Ltd. is a fax-based information publisher, providing specialized information, broadcast and on-demand fax products to the mortgage and automotive industries.
