Four Wheel Drive 2.30 Ripon SP forecast 5-4 Still a maiden after 11 starts but bounced right back to form when second at Beverley last month. That was his first run back with David Brown having had one start for Derek Shaw. The winner has won again since and Four Wheel Drive runs off the same mark here Conclusion Cheekpieces are back on but he has yet to run well in them and that puts me off.

.Muscika 3.30 Ripon SP forecast 15-8 Consistent type who has finished second on three of his last four outings and comes here after a good second on soft ground at York recently. David O'Meara's gelding is up 1lb but doesn't have any secrets from the handicapper and faces some well-handicapped rivals. Conclusion The solid option who might find one or two too good again.

. Opposable.

Auxilia 4.05 Naas SP forecast 9-4 Cost €140,000 as a yearling and went off a well-fancied 11-4 second favourite for her debut at Leopardstown. Greenness proved her undoing and she finished only second after finding trouble in running. The form is largely untested but the winner won in a good time and Auxilia was finishing well.

. Conclusion Sure to improve and should win.

Hameem 4.45 Kempton SP forecast 2-1 Progressed well last season and returned with victory at Newmarket in May, but has since disappointed in Listed company at Pontefract and in a handicap at Ascot. That form has worked out well though and this lightly raced filly is open to further progress in a weaker race. Conclusion Not convinced she is one to take a short price about after two below-par runs.

.Citron Major 6.30 Windsor SP forecast 9-4 Won off a 3lb lower mark at York in May and put a poor effort behind him when third over 6f at Redcar in a first-time tongue-tie two weeks ago.

Nigel Tinkler's gelding runs off the same mark but his best form is over 7f and he was slowly away last time. That's a worry at 6f.

Conclusion Will need to be sharper away and I prefer Goodnight Girl..
