FANFARE FOR THE COMMONS MAN.

Byline: By Wales on Sunday

Welsh singer Christopher Rees will have politicians going wild in the aisles when he rocks the Houses of Parliament on Wednesday.

The super-talented and critically acclaimed singer-songwriter has been asked to perform alongside a group of MP musicians - the MP Four - as part of a day arranged by the British Music Rights and Fergal Sharkey Live Music Forum.

'I'm really curious about it all,' said Christopher, from Llanelli.

'It's only a pretty short set of 15 minutes, but should be interesting. It's an opportunity to be seen by people who would never normally get to see me play.'

Christopher, who runs his own Cardiff music studio and film music record label, Red Eye Music, releases his new album on October 18.
