FAN SCENE:YOUR VIEWS ON YOUR TEAMS: Points are all that matter now; M A N C H E S T E R U N I T E D.
TUESDAY'S win over Leicester City was hardly vintage United, but at this stage of the season points are paramount and I was satisfied with a 1-0 victory.
The game again exposed, however, that DavidBellion and Diego Forlan are not up to it at Premiership level.
Forlan has had his special moments -two winning goals at Anfield and an injury-time decider against Chelsea being the best -but there haven't been enough of them.
The Uruguayan has a poor first touch and all too often good United moves break down when he becomes involved.
And Bellion doesn't seem to have the quality or composure of the great United players of the past 10 years.
There were some high points in our defeat of the Foxes, however -mainly the performance of Ronaldo, who will be a great player when he adds some steel to his bag of tricks.
Last Saturday's win at Birmingham was more impressive. United were dire in the first half but after the break outplayed a useful side.
We are looking good for second place now but our clash with Chelsea on May 8 will be crucial.
Hopefully, theLondoners will still be involved in the Champions League and therefore be distracted.
Portsmouth away tomorrow will be difficult, withHarry Redknapp's side fighting for survival.
Apart from Arsenal in the FA Cup,no one has really turned Pompey over big style this season.
I would be more than happy with nicking another narrow victory.
