FAMILY: KIDS' STUFF.

WEEBLES wobbled, but they didn't fall down!

The classic children's toy (above) is now making a high street come back at Marks and Spencer.

The miniature toys, originally launched in the UK in 1973 with arguably the most famous strapline in history, wobbled into obscurity in 1997 when they ceased to be produced.

Weebles have now wobbled their way onto the web and are available again online at marksandspencer.com.

With their reputation for never standing still, Weebles have also been modernised - the familiar egg-shaped bottom has been replaced with a wheel- like device which not only wobbles but allows the Weeble to roll along.

Final Marks and Spencer online orders for Weebles at Christmas can be placed on Tuesday, December 16.

KIDS can also have great fun in the world of little people with Fisher-Price.

The toy firm's Little-People Animal Sounds Farm (above) is pounds 25 from Mothercare.

For tots aged 12 months and upwards, it's a whole world of animals and characters to stimulate the imagination, with sounds to match with the addition of three AA batteries (not included).

Available from stores or see www.mothercare.com or call 08453 304030.

ALSO for acting out lots of favourite stories or making up new ones, is the Boots Fairy Tale Puppet Set.

These four handmade characters (below) are aimed at youngsters aged three years and upwards, and are priced pounds 19.99.
