FAIRVIEW GENERAL HOSPITAL OFFERS FREE COMMUNITY FORUM ON COPING WITH HOLIDAY DEPRESSION

CLEVELAND, Nov. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Fairview General Hospital will offer a free Community Forum on "Coping With Holiday Depression" from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 22, at Our Lady of Angels Church at 3644 Rocky River Dr. in Cleveland.
The forum will feature a panel of experts from Fairview Hospital's Mental Health Services. They will discuss the causes and effects of depression, and will provide tips on how to cope with the emotional highs and lows of this time of year. The panelists will be available for questions following their presentations.
For many, the holidays are a time of traditional family festivities, for sharing and feelings of good cheer. Yet along with these feelings come overwhelming levels of stress caused by increased activities and high expectations. These increased numbers of stressors tend to lead to the "holiday blues." This forum is intended to help individuals handle these stressors and to recognize and cope with holiday depression. It is one of a series of community forums sponsored by Fairview Hospital.
Space is limited. For reservations or more information on the forum, contact Fairview Hospital's Department of Public Relations at 216- 476-7183.
