FAILURE OF GOODWILL.
LITTLE surprises Murphy but reading how a DUP councillor wrote in a visitors' book that the executed 1916 Easter Rising rebels "got what they deserved" and "they were no saints" made Murphy spill his coffee.
What really left Murphy speechless was that Ballymoney DUP councillor Ian Stevenson - who wrote the offensive comments - was taking part in a cross-community visit to Kilmainham's jail as part of a GOOD RELATIONS initiative.
Good relations - more like good God what was he thinking?
You can take the DUP man out of the North but clearly you can't take the blatant narrow mindedness out of the DUP.
