FACELIFTERS HOME SYSTEMS ANNOUNCES SEARS ROEBUCK AND CO.'S AGREEMENT TO RENEW CURRENT LICENSE ARRANGEMENT

 NEW YORK, Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Facelifters Home Systems, Inc. (the "Company") (NASDAQ: FACE) today announced that Sears Roebuck and Co. (NYSE: S) has recently agreed to renew the current license arrangement with the Company through Dec. 31, 1994. Additionally, Sears has agreed with the Company for the expansion of the Company's license to sell, furnish and install (SFI) kitchen cabinet refacing into the following 10 markets:
 Austin, Texas
 Birmingham, Ala.
 Chattanooga, Tenn.
 Dallas, Texas
 Houston, Texas
 Knoxville, Tenn.
 Nashville, Tenn.
 Orlando, Fla.
 Roanoke - Lynchburg, Va.
 San Antonio, Texas
 Based on certain demographics the Company believes the new markets represent potential increases in current sales volume to the Company of approximately 25%. The Dallas branch has already opened and it is anticipated that Birmingham, Roanoke and Orlando will be opened during the next 120 days. The Company expects to complete the expansion into the other markets by the end if its fiscal year March 31, 1995. New locations opened this quarter are expected to begin to generate revenues in April of this year.
 The Company also announces that as a result of achieving less than expected sales from the Edina, Minn. location, they have recently closed that office. The Company had previously reserved the major costs associated with the closing and does not expect this to cause any material change in its prospects.
 The Company plans on making commitments to an extensive television telemarketing and direct mail marketing program including commercials on network affiliates in all new market areas. Additionally the Company has recently expanded its telemarketing capabilities by opening a state-of-the-art facility in Boca Raton, Fla. This new facility is already on line and is expected to accommodate and support annual sales levels of approximately $50 million.
 In addition to performing consumer marketing through television advertising, telemarketing, and direct mail, the Company intends to utilize Sears' recently approved in-store kiosks for home improvement product services (HIPS), with direct telephone access to its marketing center.
