FABRI-CENTERS NAMES SIX TO TOP POSTS CLEVELAND, Dec. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Fabri-Centers of America, Inc.
(NYSE: FCA) today announced the elections of six executives to newly created vice-presidential positions to support the company's growth objectives.
Those named were: -- Lee A. Barnard, vice president, apparel. Prior to her promotion, Barnard was a merchandise manager and earlier a buyer of fashion apparel. -- M.J. Marlinski, vice president, home decorating and craft fabrics. Marlinski has held a number of positions with the company including merchandising manager, fabric buyer, merchandise coordinator and store manager. -- Wayne A. Schneider, vice president, craft. He previously was merchandise manager of crafts and gifts. -- Kathleen A. Valentine, vice president, basic fabrics. Valentine has held a number of accounting and merchandising positions with Fabri-Centers. She most recently served as a merchandise manager. -- James F. Phillips, vice president, leasing. Phillips is a ten-year veteran of the company's Real Estate Department and most recently served as director of the department. -- Francis C. Piccirillo, vice president, treasurer. Piccirillo formerly was assistant treasurer and director of taxes. Alan Rosskamm, president and chief executive officer of Fabri-Centers, said that the new positions and promotions to them were designed to further strengthen the company's management organization for continued growth.
