FAB NEWS.

Fabrizio Ravanelli has received last-minute clearance to make his Middlesbrough debut tonight against his old club Juventus.

The silver-haired star was prevented from playing for Boro against Parma at the weekend because Juventus had not received the first instalment of his pounds 7million transfer fee.

And it looked as though Ravanelli was going to be denied a farewell match against Juve at Cesena this evening.

But the club's sporting director Luciano Moggi said: "The money has just arrived and Middlesbrough have fulfilled their obligations.

"A slight problem arose because of weekend banking delays.

"But all is now well and he is set to play against us, which is fitting."
