F.X. Matt now offers full line of soft drinks.

The F.X. Matt Brewing Company of Utica, NY, now offers six soda varieties--Root Beer;Orange Cream, Ginger Beer, Shirley Temple, Diet Root Beer and Sparkling Lemonade. According to Fred Matt, vice president of F.X. Matt, the brewery strives to produce the best soft drinks on the market. "Many of the large soft drink manufacturers don't spend the time or money on developing a higher-quality product," he said. "When we developed Saranac soft drinks, we decided to make a rich, delicious, blow-yoursocks-off beverage." The sodas are available in 12-oz. six-packs, and the root beer is also available on draught. Jane Hooper, PR rep for the sodas, is a fan. "My favorites are the root beer and orange cream soda," she says. "I believe that Saranac Root Beer is, perhaps, the best-tasting root beer on the market and Saranac Orange Cream soda tastes just like a creamsicle. Both make a great ice cream float!"
