F&E RESOURCE SYSTEMS TECHNOLOGY ANNOUNCES RECEIPT OF PERMITS REQUIRED
 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF COMPOSTING FACILITY
LAUREL, Md., Nov. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- F&E Resource Systems Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: FERSC), today announced receipt of the Solid Waste Management and Air Quality permits required for construction of a proposed $24.5 million, 340-ton-per-day recycling and composting facility to be located in Prince George's County, Md., a suburb of Washington. Issued by the Maryland Department of the Environment, these are the final pre-construction permits required by the company to proceed to financial closing for the project.
Additionally, the Prince George's County Council recently approved a resolution consenting to the issuance of tax exempt bonds for the project to be sponsored by the Maryland Energy Finance Administration. State Street Boston Capital of State Street Bank in Boston will be underwriting the bonds.
The proposed facility will be constructed by a P.G. FERST Limited Partnership. The general partner is a wholly owned subsidiary of F&E Resource Systems Technology, Inc. The planned project is similar to a $45 million, 520-ton-per-day plant currently being constructed by the company in Baltimore.
F&E Resource Systems Technology, Inc., is a Maryland-based developer of recycling and composting facilities.
