F&E RESOURCE SYSTEMS TECHNOLOGY, INC., SELECTS INVESTMENT BANKER FOR RECYCLING PROJECT

 BALTIMORE, Feb. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- F&E Resource Systems Technology, Inc. (FERST) (NASDAQ: FERS) today announced that it has engaged Alex. Brown & Sons Incorporated (NYSE: AB) to act as investment banker for FERST's second recycling/composting facility. The 340-ton-per-day solid waste recycling and composting operation will cost approximately $25 million to construct and will be located in Prince George's County, Md., a Washington suburb. FERST had previously engaged State Street Bank and Trust on the Prince George's transaction. State Street was released prior to the Alex. Brown engagement. The plant will be owned and operated by subsidiaries of FERST. The initial FERST facility, a 700-ton-per-day plant located in Baltimore, began processing material earlier this month and is scheduled for final acceptance during this first quarter, within budget and ahead of schedule.
