F&E RESOURCE SYSTEMS TECHNOLOGY, INC., ANNOUNCES WITHDRAWAL OF BFI FROM PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD., COMPOSTING PROJECT

 BALTIMORE, Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- F&E Resource Systems Technology, Inc. (FERST) (NASDAQ: FERS), today announced that Browning-Ferris Inc., a subsidiary of Browning-Ferris Industries, Inc. (BFI) (NYSE: BFI), has withdrawn as the sole supplier of municipal solid waste for FERST's proposed recycling and composting facility to be located in Prince George's County, Md.
 Ronald W. Pickett, president and CEO of FERST, noted: "BFI's decision will have a severe detrimental impact on our ability to obtain financing for the Prince George's project."
 FERST, headquartered in Maryland, is an owner and operator of recycling and composting facilities. The company is traded on NASDAQ under the symbol FERS.
