Extra Gold taps Chicago agency.

Vince Cullers Advertising Inc. of Chicago and Coors Brewing Co. have reached an agreement whereby the agency will develop African-American programs specifically for Coors Extra Gold.

"Vince Culler's specialty is developing consumer advertising and marketing programs targeting the African-American market segment," said Gary Skovsted, Coors Extra Gold brand director. "This is an important market for our brand, and Vince Cullers provides the right fit and expertise for Coors Extra Gold."

Founded in 1956, Vince Cullers Advertising is the first African-American-owned, full-service advertising agency, Skovsted noted. Its client list includes Sears, Roebuck and Co., Amoco Oil Division, Kellogg Co., and Pizza Hut.
