Extended Systems Expands E-Commerce Storefront.

BOISE, Idaho--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 2, 1999--

In a move to further boost its growing on-line product sales, Extended Systems (Nasdaq:XTND) announced today that it has expanded its U.S. and Canada e-commerce storefront to include the ExtendNet Internet Access Server, ExtendNet Virtual Private Network and the entire line of ExtendNet print servers.

Already available online, worldwide, are the company's Enterprise Harmony data synchronization and Quick Beam file transfer products, as well as technical services for the Advantage Database Server.

Extended Systems CEO and President Steve Simpson said the enhanced storefront will enable the company to accommodate more customers that want to do business over the Internet, while allowing for increased margins and order cost reductions. He said the storefront is a supplement to, not a replacement for, Extended Systems' existing distribution channels.

In addition to expanding its e-commerce offering, Extended Systems is implementing the Open Market eCommerce engine Transact(tm) through a customized leasing and support service, MerchantTrax(tm), from iCOMS (Internet Commerce Services).

Extended Systems e-commerce site can be found at www.extendedsystems.com/store.
