Extended Systems Inc (Nasdaq:XTND), provider of mobile technology to enterprise organisations, announced on Tuesday (25 October) that its stockholders have voted to adopt and approve a merger agreement with Sybase Inc (NYSE:SY)

Under the merger agreement Extended Systems will merge with Sybase and become a wholly owned subsidiary of it. More than 54% of the Extended Systems common stock outstanding on the record date was cast in favour of adoption and approval of the merger agreement, according to the company.
