ExpressJet reports increase in August traffic.
ExpressJet Holdings Inc (NYSE:XJT), a US-based regional carrier, has reported that its traffic increased by 12.4% in August 2006.
The carrier, which operates Continental Express services for Continental Airlines, reported that its traffic increased to 955.8m revenue passenger miles (RPMs) in August from 850.3m RPMs a year before.
ExpressJet also said that its capacity increased by 9.9% to 1.22bn available seat miles (ASMs), from 1.11bn ASMs in the same month last year.
