ExpressJet Holdings reports June traffic and capacity.
AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2006 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTDExpressJet Holdings (NYSE: XJT) has reported increased traffic and capacity in June 2006 for its Continental Express operating fleet.
The carrier said that during June ExpressJet revenue passenger miles (RPMs) totalled 948m, showing an increase of 17.6% over June 2005, and available seat miles (ASMs) increased by 9.4% as compared to June 2005.
ExpressJet's June load factor was 82.4%, showing a 5.7 point increase over June 2005. The company operated 79,765 block hours, as compared with 71,668 block hours in June 2005, and 42,391 departures, as compared to 39,423 departures in June 2005.
The company also reported a 99.7% controllable completion factor, which excludes cancellations due to weather and air traffic control. ExpressJet had a total completion factor of 96.4% during the month.
