ExpressJet Airways records load factor of 78.2% for May.


ExpressJet Holdings (NYSE: XJT) reported on Thursday the traffic results for its subsidiary, ExpressJet Airlines, for May 2009. May 2008 results were not available for comparison.

Scheduled revenue passenger miles for the month totalled 649m and available seat miles were 829m, resulting in a May 2009 scheduled load factor of 78.2%. ExpressJet Airways, operating as Continental Express, recorded 28,715 departures in May 2009 and 53,023 block hours.

Within its corporate aviation division, ExpressJet Airways flew a total of 595 block hours in May 2009.
