Exploration proposals submitted. (Mining News).

Prospectors from the Timmins and Kirkland Lake area have submitted more than $6.9 million worth of exploration proposals for a new surveying initiative in northeastern Ontario. Volunteers on a technical committee for the Discover Abitibi project are mulling over 44 proposals in the search for base metals, diamonds, gold and platinum group metalS. The Discover Abitibi project is a groundbreaking collaborative effort between mining industry stakeholders and government to search for new mineral deposits employing the latest in surveying technologies.
