Expert Nerys to talk on eve of food festival.

NERYS Howell has showcased Welsh food in the world's culinary hotspots - and advised how to survive on rations with only an open fire to cook on for TV's Coal House.

Now Nerys is a guest speaker at the first Mold Food and Drink Conference to be staged at the Beaufort Park Hotel near Mold on Friday, September 24, on the eve of the Mold Food and Drink Festival September 25-26.

She has drawn up a free toolkit to put before delegates to show how those in the hospitality industry can boost business by using the best produce Flintshire and Denbighshire has to offer.

The food festival will take place in the centre of Mold between 10am and 8pm on Saturday and Sunday. It will include cookery demonstrations, interactive sessions, and musical entertainment.

Those demonstrating include Graham Tinsley, current manager of the Welsh National Culinary Team, and director at The Castle Hotel, Conwy.
