DURHAM, N.C. & FORT WAYNE, Ind.--(BW HealthWire)--July 10, 2001

Experior Corporation, a healthcare information systems developer specializing in comprehensive practice management software solutions for small- to large-sized physician clinics, has chosen MDeverywhere(TM) to expand its suite of options for personal digital assistant (PDA)-based charge capture.

MDeverywhere is a leader providing handheld solutions for physicians to improve efficiency and accuracy at the point of care.

Experior will integrate MDeverywhere's EveryCharge(SM) service into its Medical Management System (EMMS) so doctors can enter diagnoses, treatments and other information into handheld devices as they conduct patient visits. The new technology has proven to reduce errors and paperwork while streamlining the billing process, as evidenced by a recent independent study that yielded a 989 percent return on investment. Experior will sell the MDeverywhere solution to new and current clients as a component of their entire product suite.

Experior delivers innovative systems to clients supporting a base of more than 1,400 physicians, and providing care to more than 5,000,000 patient visits annually. The company's first client to implement the MDeverywhere service will be on-line within the next 30 days.

"We are eager to expand our growing suite of options that will drive physician adoption of handheld technology," says Rex Whitten, vice president/COO with Experior. "We selected MDeverywhere because it delivers real and immediate financial value to physicians."

Experior and MDeverywhere plan to offer a broad suite of products on the Pocket PC and Palm platforms, including charge capture, dictation, order entry and clinical results reporting connected directly into Experior's EMMS software.

"Our strategy has been to align with the most well-respected players in the industry," says Alan Rubin, president and CEO of MDeverywhere. "Experior's expertise in creating clinical value through orders, prescriptions and clinical content combined with our strong financial value proposition is a great match that will drive physician usage of PDAs."
