Executive Presbyter/stated clerk.

Shenango Presbytery

In the rolling hills of western Pennsylvania, Shenango includes 57 churches, 9,000 Presbyterians and two Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) affiliated colleges. Shenango Presbytery is in close proximity to Pittsburgh Seminary, as well as Youngstown and Cleveland in Ohio. The presbytery has a strong missional identity and significant global mission involvement. Shenango Presbytery is highly relational and seeks a candidate, whether teaching or ruling elder, who sees his or her identity as pastor to the presbytery.

In a changing cultural, denominational, and presbytery climate, Shenango Presbytery seeks an executive presbyter with a passion for the church and its mission and witness both in Shenango Presbytery and around the globe. The successful candidate should possess the ability to lead the pastors, elders and congregations by helping to provide the context for empowering, equipping and encouraging all members of the presbytery to fulfill their calling as disciples of Jesus Christ.
