| THIS year's Remembrance |Day Parade will take place on Sunday.

All those wishing to march in the parade should assemble at Spencer Park no later than 10am.

The parade will proceed to the War Memorial Park for a service of remembrance commencing at 10.55am. The parade will be led by the Coventry Corps of Drums and the City of Coventry Standard Bearers.

A book of remembrance will be open at the memorial for those wishing to sign a tribute.

| THIS year is the 75th anni-|versary of the Coventry Blitz.

A service of remembrance will be held at the mass grave of the Blitz victims in London Road cemetery on Sunday at 3pm.

The Lord Mayor and Civic Party will be supported by members of the City of Coventry Standard Bearers.

Coventry 'S armistice day |service will take place in the West Orchards Shopping Centre on Wednesday, November 11 at 11am. Those wishing to take part should assemble by 10.45am.

BedWortH'S 97th armi-|stice Day parade and service will take place on Wednesday, November 11.

The parade will muster at 10am in Church Way and will march through the town centre to the war memorial in Coventry Road cemetery for a service of remembrance.

The parade will be led by the union flag which will be carried this year by Grace Reynolds, standard bearer for the Bulkington branch of the Royal British Legion.

After the parade, hospitality will be provided by Bedworth Ex-service Club/Liberal Club/ Conservative Club and Trent Valley Club.

Those travelling by car are advised to be parked up by 9.15am. Certain roads will be closed at 9.30am.

| ON Saturday, the City of Cov-|entry Standard Bearers will be present at the memorial service to be held in Riley Square, Bell Green, at the bench dedicated to the memory of Fusilier Fullarton, killed while serving in Afghanistan.

The service will commence at 11am.

| THE Last Night of the Proms |concert at the Old Meeting Church in Bedworth will be held on Saturday at 7.30pm.

Bilston Town Silver Band will be presenting a programme of patriotic and traditional music.

| AN amendment to last week's |notes: Those people travelling to Luxembourg should now meet at the Royal Warwick Club on Wednesday at 11am for final travel and ticket details.

roBert Gibbens, branch |president and secretary of the Coventry & District REME Association, has died.

His funeral will take place at the Heart of England Crematorium, Nuneaton, on Thursday, November 12 at 2.15pm.

Please note: The next meeting of the Coventry & District REME Association will now be held on Wednesday, November 4 at 2pm at the RAFA Club in Lythalls Lane.
