Evolved rotameters.

BELL FOW SYSTEMS says Hedland variable area flow meters give a clearly visible indication of system flow with a choice of optional electronic outputs and the traditional variable area design has been brought up-to-date by utilising a sharp edged orifice and spring loaded float to ensure operation in any orientation.

The company says constructed from a choice of aluminium, brass or stainless steel and with an accuracy of [+ or -]2%, the rugged construction of Hedland meters enables them to work under a wide range of harsh conditions encountered in modern industrial applications, operational pressures are up to 6000 psi/414 bar and temperatures up to 260[degrees]C/500[degrees]F.
