The board of director's of Evolution Petroleum (NYSE MKT:EPM), a petroleum reserves company, on Thursday declared a quarterly cash dividend of USD0.05 per share ofthe company's common stock.

Annually, this dividend is equivalent to USD0.20 per share.

This cash dividend will be paid payable on 30 June 2015 to shareholders of record at the close of business as of 15 June 2015.

Based on the company's current projections for the fiscal year ending 30 June 2015, its preferred stock dividends are expected to be treated as qualified dividend income and that a portion of its cash dividends on common stock will be treated as a return of capital and the remainder as qualified dividend income.
