The new Knockout PC has been unveiled by Evesham Technologies, a UK-based provider of IT solutions, to support the forthcoming football World Cup tournament.

The Knockout features an AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ Processor, 1GB DDR RAM, 250GB 7200rpm Western Digital SATA HDD, 256MB NVIDIA 7600GT graphics and a 19" Widescreen Viewsonic monitor. It includes a 16x Dual Layer DVDRW, Microsoft Windows XP Media Centre Edition 2005, Creative Labs I-Trigue 2.1 3220 Speakers, MS Works8, Roxio Easy Media Creator7 and Bullguard Internet Security.

The Knockout's twin digital TV tuner allows users to watch or record two digital TV programmes simultaneously, enabling users to record coverage of the World Cup and pause, rewind and replay live footage. It also allows football fans to capture high quality still images and the Dual Layer DVDRW drive enables users to store twice as much data as a standard DVD.

Evesham Technologies is shipping the Knockout immediately, with a three year warranty, with prices starting from GBP999 including VAT.
