Everyone is invited to come back to church this Christmas.

I WOULD like to invite your readers to come along to their local church this December and enjoy one of the many Christmas services taking place.

I previously invited your readers to come along to Back to Church Sunday this September; we had a fantastic response, welcoming around 1,000 people back to churches across the Diocese of Liverpool.

Even if you don't want to attend a service, but simply want some quiet time, our churches are here for you.

Simply visit www.christmasnearyou.

com, type in your postcode, and you will find a list of local churches, their opening times and the services taking place.

Churches will also be posting details of their Christmas events on www.facebook.com/merseychristmas.

You will be warmly welcomed, whichever church you go to.

We hope that as many people as possible will use these tools to find their local church and join us to proclaim with joy that Christmas starts with Christ.

With many blessings for a peaceful and joyful Christmas.
