Byline: Patrice John

A FREE half-day conference that aims to give Birmingham businesses the skills to save money and help the environment will be held in the city this month.

The West Midlands TravelWise Conference outlines how business people can implement better transport choices for their employees.

It will also highlight how flexible working, home working and video conferencing can help ease traffic congestion in the city.

Gill Hunt of TravelWise said: "The conference will show companies the types of technology and practices available to improve business travel, and give advice on the tax and financial benefits." The conference is on October 23, at Maple House, in Corporation Street, Birmingham City Centre. Email travelwise@dudley.gov.uk or call 01384 815406 to book.
