Time permitting, you will perhaps have time for a stroll beside the lake before lunch or to look around this ever-popular Lakeland resort.

After lunch, we ask you to board a sightseeing boat at Bowness pier for a sail on Lake Windermere to Ambleside. Enjoy wonderful lake and mountain winter views as you sail along in this heated and covered cruiser.

On arrival in Ambleside you will have free time for Christmas shopping in the town's pleasant Lakeland craft shops and boutiques.
