Sage Publications, [c]2005
The previously published articles contained in this four-volume set have been usefully arranged into sections on such topics as typologies and paradigms, ethics and values, case studies and dialogical methods, combining methods and data, program theory and logic models, economics and costs, performance management and outcomes, and capacity and utilization. Editor Stern (his affiliation is not noted) introduces the set with an overview of the articles he has selected. The articles, which have been reformatted and are presented in continuous pagination, were originally published in such journals as Evaluation, Evaluation and Program Planning, American Psychologist, American Journal of Evaluation, and Journal of Public Policy, some are excerpted from books, and all include their original scholarly apparatus. The volumes are not indexed.
