European Investment Bank to offer AUD231m two-year bonds.

European Investment Bank (EIB) is planning to offer AUD231m worth of two-year ecology bonds in a sale which starts on Tuesday Dow Jones has reported, citing an official at underwriting firm Daiwa Securities.
The bank will use the proceeds from the bonds on projects that aim at preventing climate change and promoting energy-efficiency.
The bond, which will mature on May 24, 2012, has a coupon rate of 4.27 percent. The subscription period extends from May 11 to May 19, 2010.
The debt is rated 'Aaa' by Moody's and 'AAA' by Standard & Poor's.
