Byline: Rantin' Rovin' Robbo ALASTAIR ROBERTSON RIDES AGAIN

PETERGEAD fish merchant John Milne has set up shop in Aberdeen's Rose Street.

There's a great demand, particularly among the wives of French and Spanish oil executives working in Aberdeen for high quality fish.

Sadly many Aberdonians can't see further than a finnan haddie or a fish supper. The bulk of the fish landed in the North east goes straight to Spain or France.

Next time you get stuck into the calamares on holiday in Spain you can be pretty sure it's followed you all the way from Peterhead in a freezer lorry.

Buen provecho !
