Euro 2000 Betting: Draws to a conclusion.

OUR strategy of backing the draw in all Euro 2000 first-phase matches hasn't exactly had bookies crying for mercy, but going into last night's matches it was at least slightly ahead of the game.

The first 10 matches yielded three draws at top odds of 9-4, 5-2 and 5-2. A pounds 100 stake on each of those 10 matches gives a rip-roaring profit of a staggering pounds 25, so long as you got on tax-free.

But fear not, matches are bound to get cagier, and profits WILL swell.
