Eudora welty review.
The Eudora Welty Review, formerly the Eudora Welty Newsletter, is an annual journal published each spring. The Review publishes scholarly essays, announces new books, and continues regular features including news and notes, textual analyses, and checklists with illustrative materials. Previously featured authors include: John Bayne, Stuart Kidd, Michael Kreyling, Noel Polk, Peggy Whitman Prenshaw, Daniel..le Pitavy-Souques, Elizabeth Spencer, and Lois Welch. EWR Vol. 5 (2013) includes an excerpt from Tell about Night Flowers: Eudora Welty's Gardening Letters, 1940-1949, edited by Julia Eichelberger; uncollected interviews by Welty recorded during her visit to Bryn Mawr College in 1980 and Agnes Scott College in 1986; essays by Jacob Agner (winner of the 2013 Eudora Welty Society Ruth Vande Kieft Award), Mae Miller Claxton, and others; reviews, practical matters, and the checklist of scholarship.
Deadline for submissions is July 15 of each year for the following April's issue. Please see submission guidelines on our website.
